Hi Tim. I noticed your 1930′s Gibson amp there. Do you use the FIELD COIL SPEAKER with the output transformer attached to it? I have a 1930′s Gibson “Recording King” that is pretty unique and great sounding. I also have a 1930′s Gibson EH-150 that I do not use a field coil speaker with. I don’t imagine anyone knew what propulsive gain these amps had until the ’60′s. What is your favorite lead tone set up – amp/speakers/mics/mic pres? Any digital modeling amps direct to DAW that compare? Thanks!

Hi Bill. I don’t have a favorite anything. Most of the information about what I use has been, and will be revealed in the videos and forums. Thanks…
