      Hi Duda.

I use a Bill Skibbe Mic Pre and a Vintage Neve 1084. Thanks…

Hi Tim. I noticed your 1930′s Gibson amp there. Do you use the FIELD COIL SPEAKER with the output transformer attached to it? I have a 1930′s Gibson “Recording King” that is pretty unique and great sounding. I also have a 1930′s Gibson EH-150 that I do not use a field coil speaker with. I don’t imagine anyone knew what propulsive gain these amps had until the ’60′s. What is your favorite lead tone set up – amp/speakers/mics/mic pres? Any digital modeling amps direct to DAW that compare? Thanks!

Hi Bill. I don’t have a favorite anything. Most of the information about what I use has been, and will be revealed in the videos and forums. Thanks…

    Hey Tim,

Was wondering what kinda rig you were using while tracking the Toy Matinee record. Your guitar work on “Remember My Name” is really spectacular. That harmonic figure back into the 2nd verse, and the solo are sonic perfection. :) Bill Botrell really did some amazing work along with you, Brian, Guy and of course Kevin and Pat. A very special record. Thanks.
